Legal notice

Provider information and legal notices under § 5 DDG, § 18 (2) MStV and the EU Digital Services Act.
Provider information and disclaimer of warranties
Popverdict is an independent, non-commercial service made available free of charge, without advertising and without subscriptions, operated as a personal project by a private individual established in Germany; the responsible provider, and the person editorially responsible under § 18 (2) MStV, is Mina Nasralla, reachable by post at Sankt-Galler-Str. 14A, 13407 Berlin, Germany and by email at minaelmanamin@gmail.com, which also serves as the single point of contact for authorities and for users under the EU Digital Services Act (communication in English or German). No VAT identification number under § 27a UStG exists, as no paid service is provided; one will be added here if and when it is issued. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties or conditions of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, including without limitation any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability, title, or non-infringement; the provider does not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, error-free, or free of harmful components, and any use is entirely at your own risk.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the provider shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, nor for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or other intangible losses, arising out of or in connection with the use of, or inability to use, the service, however caused and on any theory of liability, even if advised of the possibility of such damages; where liability cannot lawfully be excluded it is limited to the minimum amount permitted by law. Under § 7 (1) DDG the provider is responsible for its own content under the general laws, but under §§ 8–10 DDG is not obliged to monitor transmitted or stored third-party information or to investigate circumstances indicating unlawful activity; obligations to remove or block information under the general laws remain unaffected, arise only upon actual knowledge of a concrete infringement, and such content will then be removed without undue delay.
User-generated content
The questions, answers, appeals and reasons in this service are written by the users themselves and do not represent the opinion of the provider. A vote result is the tally of the votes cast; it is not a statement by the provider that any answer is correct or true. Reports of unlawful content can be made at any time directly in the app using the "Report" control on any vote — every report is read by a human — or by email to the address above; what can and cannot be removed is set out in full on the "What is not allowed" page, and nothing is removed that is not listed there.
Links, copyright and citation
This service may link to external third-party websites over whose content the provider has no influence and for which no guarantee is given; the respective operator is always responsible for the content of a linked page, and such links are removed without undue delay once a legal violation becomes known. Content and works created by the provider are subject to German copyright law, and reproduction, adaptation, distribution or exploitation beyond the limits of copyright requires written consent. As an express exception, the published results of closed votes may be freely quoted, including by automated systems, with attribution and a link to the relevant result page (see /llms.txt) — a number nobody can verify is not a number.
Consumer dispute resolution
The provider is neither willing nor obliged to participate in dispute-resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board (§ 36 VSBG). No link to the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform is provided, because that platform was permanently discontinued on 20 July 2025 (Regulation (EU) 2024/3228) and has not accepted complaints since March 2025.
